Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and special events, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Groups & Events, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and other operational departments to create seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all event spaces are prepared impeccably and in line with brand standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for event hosts and VIP guests during events, anticipating needs and providing personalised, discreet service.
• Conduct pre-event and pre-shift briefings, ensuring teams are fully aligned on event requirements, service expectations, and operational priorities.
• Lead and motivate event service teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Attend and contribute to Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings, ensuring clear communication and flawless execution across departments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to support successful event delivery.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

About You

• Connection - You cultivate warm, authentic relationships with guests and colleagues alike, fostering a collaborative team environment with genuine care and the attentiveness that makes each individual - guest or associate - feel personally recognised and valued.
• Guest-Centricity - You place the guest at the heart of every decision - anticipating needs before they are expressed, personalising each interaction, and holding yourself to a standard of excellence that is never negotiable, whatever the scale or format of the event.
• Influencing - You articulate menu offerings and event details with confidence and genuine enthusiasm, adapting your communication style naturally to suit different guests and occasions. You inspire those around you through the clarity of your example, not the weight of your title.
• Integrity - You uphold service etiquette and operational standards consistently and without compromise, acting as a visible standard-bearer for the team. You handle guest feedback and sensitive information with full discretion, and take personal responsibility for a safe, well-ordered working environment.
• Drive - You approach every event with energy, focus, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence - leading from the front, taking full ownership of mise en place and service preparations, and continuously developing your menu knowledge and leadership skills.
• Adaptability - You embrace the varied formats and shifting demands of event service with composure and flexibility - leading the team confidently in the absence of management, making sound decisions under pressure, and turning last minute changes into seamless moments.
