Windchill PLM Administrator

Location: Ampthill
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Thursday (4xFlex)
Security Clearance: SC clearance required to start, followed by DV clearance

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a defence organisation to recruit a Windchill PLM Administrator based in Ampthill.

This is an opportunity for an experienced PLM Administrator with 2 3 years of hands-on Windchill experience to support engineering programmes within a secure defence environment, while benefiting from a four-day working week. You will design, develop and maintain client-side and server-side customisations, integrations and data migration solutions for PTC Windchill. Working with cross-functional teams, you will support product data management, engineering change control and collaboration across global engineering disciplines.

The Role

• Design, develop and implement PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
• Customise and configure Windchill to meet business and engineering requirements.
• Integrate the platform with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Develop and support data migration solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform system upgrades and ongoing maintenance.

About You

• An experienced PLM Administrator with 2 3 years of practical PTC Windchill experience.
• Strong understanding of Windchill architecture and PLM processes.
• Experience developing and managing Windchill solutions, including customisation and configuration.
• Software development skills using Java, XML, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with database management and SQL.
• A bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Defence industry experience is desirable, although candidates from an engineering background will also be considered.
