Over the coming transformation period, multiple legacy product and business identities will be consolidated into a more coherent Aareon architecture, supported by a common visual language, design system and governance framework. To help accelerate this transformation, Aareon is engaging specialist Brand Systems Designers to help build the foundations that will allow the brand to scale consistently across marketing, product, sales and customer-facing teams.

The Opportunity

We`re looking for an experienced Brand Systems Designer to build Aareon`s Canva ecosystem from the ground up. Your primary objective is to create the design infrastructure that allows a growing organisation to produce high-quality, on-brand collateral at scale. You will translate Aareon`s evolving design system into Canva, creating governed templates, component libraries, workflows and brand controls that enable teams across the business to create assets independently. Today, Marketing sits in the path of a significant volume of collateral requests. This role helps solve that problem by creating the systems that make self-service possible whilst maintaining brand consistency during one of the largest brand transitions in the company`s history. You will work closely with the team to create a scalable Canva environment that supports the branded-house rollout, reduces operational friction and establishes the foundation for future growth. This role is ideal for someone who thinks in systems rather than individual assets and enjoys designing frameworks that make entire organisations more effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Canva Brand System Architecture Design and build Aareon`s Canva enterprise environment.
• Establish the structure, governance and taxonomy behind the Canva workspace.
• Configure brand controls, locked elements, approved assets and reusable components.
• Create a scalable framework that supports both current and future brand requirements.
• Develop standards that enable self-service without sacrificing consistency.
• Template Library Development Create a comprehensive library of Canva templates for marketing, sales, customer success and corporate communications.
• Develop templates for social media, presentations, case studies, product sheets, event assets, email graphics and internal communications.
• Build modular template systems that can be used across multiple products and audiences.
• Ensure templates are intuitive for non-design users.
• Reduce the volume of routine asset requests flowing into the marketing team.
• Branded House Rollout Support Support the rollout of the One Aareon identity and evolving product architecture.
• Translate brand standards into practical, repeatable Canva assets and workflows.
• Ensure newly launched products and initiatives can be supported within the system.
• Help maintain consistency across legacy brands transitioning into the new architecture.
• Support adoption of Aareon Intelligence and future product launches through scalable branded assets.
• Governance & Enablement Develop Canva governance guidelines and usage standards.
• Create training materials and documentation for internal users.
• Enable teams to create their own collateral safely and consistently.
• Establish approval routes and governance controls where required.
• Work with stakeholders to improve adoption and utilisation across the organisation.
• Design Systems & Asset Management Translate Aareon`s visual identity into a structured design system.
• Ensure design assets, components and templates remain current and organised.
• Create processes for maintaining and evolving the Canva environment.
• Work closely with Designers and the Creative Lead to ensure alignment with broader brand standards.
• Leave behind a sustainable system that can be maintained internally after the contract concludes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Extensive experience building Canva environments, brand hubs or enterprise Canva implementations.
• Advanced Canva expertise, including Brand Kits, template governance, permissions and workspace architecture.
• Experience designing self-service template ecosystems for non-design users.
• Strong graphic design capability and understanding of visual identity systems.
• Experience translating brand guidelines into scalable workflows and reusable assets.
• Experience supporting brand transitions, identity rollouts or organisational transformation.
• Ability to balance governance with usability.

Desirable Experience

• Implementing Canva across large or distributed organisations.
• Experience supporting acquisition integration or multi-brand consolidation.
• Experience within technology, SaaS, PropTech or B2B organisations.
• Familiarity with Figma component systems and design-system methodologies.
• Experience creating training programmes and adoption frameworks.
