Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking Senior Quality Inspectors to join their team in Barrow on a 12-month contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Analyse and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve quality-related issues
- Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
- Provide input on the development and improvement of quality inspection procedures
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
- Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively under shift patterns, including night shifts
