An Agile Coach helps people to work more effectively together to deliver valuable work. We do this by teaching, coaching and mentoring teams & leadership on Agile principles, encouraging autonomy within teams and providing a safe space for learning and experimentation. The result of this is happier and more productive teams, increased innovation and greater organisational agility.
This role will require you to work closely with colleagues to influence and deliver business and/or software change, whilst instilling and coaching new and efficient ways of working both within your immediate teams but also across the wider business.
Working as part of a team of Agile Coaches, you will help plan resources, predict and clear blockers and promote collaboration within the team to ensure any problems are solved and deadlines are met.
What will the role involve?
You will work closely with other Agile Coach to encourage collaborative and self-organised ways of working within your teams. You will coach the team to predict and remove impediments in order to optimise team efficiency, whilst liaising with colleagues across the organisation to understand how and where your teams can deliver the highest value.
What are we looking for?
The successful applicant will use their initiative to identify opportunities for improvement. You will be reliable, open and someone that will actively contribute towards the ongoing success of their team and the team of Agile Coaches.
Applicants should be friendly and positive with a keen interest in working with others to achieve a common set of goals.
We are looking for someone able to build and foster a team culture, to develop efficient ways of working. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed as well as the ability to inspire, motivate and influence others, including senior colleagues. Equally, any experience of leadership would be beneficial within this role but not essential.
We are looking for someone who is able to question and challenge existing processes, in order to evolve and encourage sustainable and productive ways of working here at HL.
