We’re expanding our Reward Team and have exciting opportunities for both Reward Consultants and Analysts.  We are looking for people who have previous experience as well as those looking to move into a Reward role.  In these roles you’ll gain a wide range of experience in many aspects of performance, reward and benefits, and get involved in some really exciting projects

As part of the Reward Team at HL, you will lead and/or support on exciting performance, reward (executive and share / cash compensation) and benefits projects. You will use your consulting/analytical skills and knowledge to support HL to help people save and invest with confidence, by developing a diverse and inclusive culture where colleagues are engaged, empowered and work together to live our values. You will also provide insight and analysis to support the delivery of key reward projects, including those as part of the annual Reward cycle. Training will be provided to candidates from a non HR/Reward background.

KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Support on complex technical reward activities within the annual pay cycle and as part of wider transformation work
Support with providing advice, recommendations and expertise on role sizing and benchmarking
Provide detailed insight and analysis to key annual reward related activities, influencing reward strategy, policy and procedure.
Plan and deliver performance and reward MI requirements.
Support with engaging and proactive reward communications on a variety of topics
Support activities relating to legislative and regulatory pay reporting requirements, including required regulatory tracking and collating information for the Directors Remuneration Report
Support with the management and ongoing development of incentive schemes
Support with the delivery of a clear, fair, and transparent pay offering and pay/performance management process from the Executive Committee down
Manage discretionary share plans and ensure they are operated in accordance with regulatory requirements and operational needs.
Implement system (Workday) changes and processes as required, including roll-out to business / HR users.
Provide technical advice / solutions to compensation/equity/executive matters.
Provide insight and advice to support continuous improvement and management within risk and controls framework.
Work with external providers to provide market data and trends that inform the annual cycle.
Lead projects focused on automation, data quality and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in a Reward or HR role desirable, but are also keen to meet people who believe they have the following skills:
The ability to manage and prioritise conflicting projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills including knowledge and use of: VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, IF statements
Experience of working with large sets of data (1000s) and applying manipulation techniques.
Ability to analyse, interpret and summarise data succinctly to senior stakeholders and clients. 
Experience of using Workday
Ability to use careful judgement, utilise differing perspectives, resolve complicated issues.

It would also be a distinct advantage if you:

Have a relevant degree or similar qualification
Have a HR/Reward related qualification (e.g. CIPD).
Knowledge, use and understanding of Excel VBA (macro coding).
