Salary: £32,471 (National Framework) or £38,143 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581 per annum for those working from home

What you will bring…
To be considered as our Senior Regional Media and Communications Officer, you will need:
- Experience in a media and/or communications role
- Experience writing good quality copy for different audiences, including press releases and reactive statements
- Experience dealing directly with the media including dealing with sensitive issues
- Strong verbal communication, networking and influencing skills
- Good organisational skills
What you’ll be doing…
As a Senior Regional Media and Communications Officer, you will promote our regulatory work through the management of regional press office functions.
Collaborating with the Senior Regional Media and Communications Advisor, you will draft press releases, prepare briefings and handle reactive and proactive media inquiries.
You will also engage with stakeholders, including NHS trusts, local authorities and Healthwatch, ensuring alignment between our messaging and regional priorities.
Additionally, you will manage communication channels, track significant issues, and support the planning and execution of internal and external engagement activities around regulatory inspections and enforcement actions.
Additionally, you will:
- Monitor media trends, provide reports and gather data to inform strategies
- Deputise for the Senior Advisor when required
