What you’ll do
You’ll support the digital product manager and be responsible for a variety of websites, products and communications channels.
You’ll be working on exciting digital projects that make a difference to the organisation and London local government.
You’ll maintain live services and websites, share knowledge and communicate plans and progress, championing user needs throughout.
Work with the digital product manager to understand user needs and business goals to then frame problems and set priorities.
It is also an opportunity to work in a talented communications team who care about making the case for London and Londoners.
Who you are
As flexible, adaptable and resilient digital professional you will be responsible for the quality of products
You have a track record of working on public facing services and websites.
You will have clear communication skills, in written form editing and creating web content but also communicating to get buy in from stakeholders.
You will be able to champion the voice of the user and have experience of engaging with users, identifying how their needs can and are being met by products and services.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of procuring skills and software on the open market and working with suppliers to deliver results.
Who we are
London Councils is a cross party organisation representing London’s 32 borough councils and the City of London. We develop policy and provide London-wide services such as Freedom Pass. We aim to get the best deal for Londoners and to ensure that London’s councils have the resources, freedoms and powers to do the best possible job for their residents and local businesses.
