Our Reconciliations team sit at the heart of our Operations department playing a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our client asset data, regulatory reporting and our compliance with the CASS framework. The team work in a fast paced, friendly environment. The successful candidate will need to be able to excel whether they’re working as part of a team or on solo projects and have the desire to influence internal change in an ever-evolving regulatory climate.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic & inquisitive individual to play a leading role in assisting our reconciliations team ensure that our clients assets are safe, secure and accounted for. You will be expected to bring experience and ability to the role. You will work with management to assess priorities and areas of focus and be expected to autonomously contribute towards the delivery of key regulatory targets and deadlines to a high degree of quality and competence.
To play a leading role in the delivery of the regulatory reconciliation targets and deadlines in accordance with CASS 6 & CASS 7 regulations.
To organise and facilitate root cause analysis sessions where issues arise and to recommend and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to reduce the risk of reoccurrence.
To assess quality assurance measures in order to mitigate risk of incorrect reconciliation.
To own escalation events with a variety of financial institutions to ensure prompt delivery of key data that underpins our reconciliations and recommend actions to improve reconciliation efficiency based on learnings.
To designs and deliver process training material and to facilitate training sessions, with less experienced members of the team as required.
To constructively and pro-actively lead aspects of the team's work to provide consistently high levels of performance, focused around the resolution of reconciliation discrepancies and implementing or improving key controls to drive team performance.
To deputise for the Operations Manager where appropriate to ensure the smooth operation of the team in their absence (leading team meetings, reviewing quality assurance outputs, resource and capacity planning and risk management activities).
To form partnerships within the business and with colleagues at all levels to enable the efficient resolution of reconciliation queries.
