Our Client Relationship Managers are at the forefront of this, being responsible for the maintenance and development of the relationship with our clients.
The role of the CRM is to develop exceptional relationships with our employer clients and where applicable, their consultants and potentially their trustees. Providing routine governance support, strategic insight and thought leadership will be essential prerequisites in maintaining and increasing client satisfaction.
Your technical and legislative knowledge will be tested as you will be assisting clients to meet their regulatory obligations.
Our strategy involves clients requiring services we offer beyond workplace pensions. This role requires subtle but effective sales acumen in order to increase asset flows and fees to HL via client acquisition of additional workplace savings solutions.
Key Duties & responsibilities
Be responsible for managing exceptional front line relationship with a panel of corporate clients, their governance committee and professional advisers. Client loyalty via retention is key a measure of satisfaction and will be a core KPI.
Ensuring the ongoing profitability of a bank of existing clients and tailoring services accordingly.
Providing proactive, routine governance support and the HL point of contact for all employer/ Trustee related service escalations.
Providing employer technical and legislative support to ensure they meet their obligations. Particularly in relation to Automatic Enrolment.
Ensuring regular strategic development and thought leadership discussion takes place, is recorded and actions pursued.
Intelligent utilisation of Financial Wellbeing Team resources to ensure the business potential and satisfaction of every scheme member is maximised.
Thoughtful collaboration with sales and other customer facing colleagues to solve issues, discuss and prioritise propositional developments and maximise client satisfaction to fully develop business development potential.
Working with administration colleagues to share technical support, experiences, refine procedures and set mutual expectations for client benefit.
Sharing of knowledge and best practices internally to best equip colleagues to succeed.
Maintain accurate records of client meetings.
To operate at all times in a highly professional and ethical manner, reflecting the HL Values.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within Workplace Solutions and the Workplace Pension Marketplace, to help improve the proposition and maintain on-going professional development.
Be a “go to” person for operations and helpdesk colleagues.
Experience & Skills
Ability to work as part of a team and be extremely capable of working alone.
Relationship development and maintenance skills.
Experience dealing with clients from all walks of life
Outstanding communication skills (written & verbal).
Knowledge of employee benefits to include: pension accumulation / decumulation strategies.
Understanding of the workplace savings and benefits market .
Knowledge of Automatic Enrolment and the challenges it creates for employers & employees.
