What we're looking for
We seek an individual with strong experience in designing, developing and driving an EVP and Talent Acquisition strategy that enables DLG to grow and develop skills that we need today and tomorrow to deliver against its business objectives and win against its competitors. We want you to bring your experience across the specialist talent landscape to help bring innovative acquisition approaches to attract specialist talent and transform how we recruit.
You’ll be enthusiastic about new emerging talent trends with a keen focus building a creative EVP that ensures DLG builds its reputation as an employer of choice, delivering a future proof workforce of diverse, skilled individuals who demonstrate the behaviours we live by.
What you'll be doing:
Partner with colleagues and leaders across all business areas to identify current and future hiring needs and develop a solution-orientated talent acquisition strategy that ensures all requirements are proactively resourced, planned and managed effectively.
Work closely with other talent experts to anticipate the organisations future skills needs and working with senior leaders to advise on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the company’s success.
Building networks within external communities to identify and build potential talent pools and attraction strategies to suit the strategic aims.
Develop close relationships with external sources, i.e. peer organisations to keep abreast of trends in recruitment and markets, adopting and adapting our approaches to remain competitive.
Driving excellent practices amongst our internal hiring population, ensuring a positive candidate journey that’s focusing on relevant skills, expectations and behaviours as well as promoting DLG
Headhunting & sourcing Senior talent for the business ensuring we are bringing top talent into the business to drive the business agenda forward.
Coming up with creative digital and social media solutions to improve direct hiring in talent short markets.
Build and develop a highly motivated, best in class recruitment team that is seen as true experts in their field and who fully support the business in their specialist recruitment needs.
Who you’ll be working with:
You’ll be working within Acquire CoE, reporting to Kelly Madeley, the Acquire CoE Lead. You’ll build strong relationships with the Grow CoE, People Partners and HR Delivery as well as business leaders to understand the resource requirements and strategic objectives to help support the business deliver its aims.
You’ll be an inspiring leader, collaborating across multiple teams both within HR and the wider business to scope, shape and eventually deliver an Acquisition and EVP strategy set to significantly drive the DLG people strategy.
