Software Engineer (D365 Reporting)
About the role
We are currently undertaking an ambitious project to move from our current ERP system to Microsoft D365. As part of this, we are fulfilling a wide range of reporting requirements with a variety of reporting tools, including native reporting tools within D365 and PowerBI reports running within an Azure-based data warehouse.
This project has also identified other data sources within the business that are out of scope for this project, but which will form part of a corporate reporting platform. The role will focus on building reporting solutions either within the Azure-based data warehouse, or within D365 itself.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering reporting solutions using a range of tools such as PowerBI and native D365 tools. They will have experience using Azure packages such as SQL Server, Analysis Services, Data Factory and Data Lake. They will ideally also have experience of ARM templates, T-SQL, Azure DevOps and Azure Logic Apps.
What we’re looking for
Experience in software development, configuration and engineering
Capability to support and operate the services you build and identify issues in production
Proven track record in iterative and incremental development
Very good track record in problem resolution and selection of technical solutions/applications.
Experience creating reports, dashboards and visualisations
Experience collaborating with business users
Experience developing BI solutions
Experience of T-SQL, DAX, M and/or Powershell
Experience working with SQL Server, Analysis Services, Data Factory, Data Lake and PowerBI
Experience working with native D365 reporting tools (Financial Reporter, Embedded Analytics, Business Documents etc)

This role will be based at our state-of-the-art Headquarters in Southampton. However, all our people, where they can are currently working from home.
