We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic Care Workers like you, to join one of our Central Services teams.
You will be the Swiss Army Knife of support as we provide care and support to a wide range of customers, so we are looking for someone as flexible as a slinky in their approach and availability.
About our teams
You’ll join our outgoing team full of diverse characters, who are all friendly and helpful with newbies. The Central Services team is led by Stacey who has worked for Home Group since 2010 when she started as a support worker and took full advantage of all the training and experience that the company has to offer. We have recently welcomed Jodie to the management team who as a former member of the CRT brings a wealth of service knowledge to support the teams. The fabulous Nicole is our Resourcing Coordinator who will look after your shifts and rotas, she can be bribed with a good chocolate biscuit. And finally, Clare, our Business Administrator, who keeps the wheels turning.
You will be a part of our lovely Central Resource Team – you will be a mobile worker in care services, acting as the superhero of support, jumping day by day to a new service to cover annual leave, or providing extra support.
Join us as a Care worker (known internally as Supported Living Worker) where one day you might be spending the day helping your customer with their personal care allowing them to live within the community (including medication or bathing), then the next day you may be supporting them to attend college and their chosen social activities.
In CRT We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. We need you to be super flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
You will be working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Although you won’t have a fixed rota you will be provided all shifts approx. a month in advance, Our Team currently have every other weekend off.
You’re passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. You will have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.
We help change our customer’s lives for the better. You’ll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, their needs and aspirations.

Experience in providing physical assistance to help wash, (shower or bath) dress, and toilet, oral care is highly desired if you wish to join us as a Supported Living Worker.
If you’re not the biggest fan of technology, that’s not a problem to us. You do need to know that we are quite a high-tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However, we’re glad to support you, if you need help.
When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
