We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who want to play a part in continuing to develop an outstanding Contracts team that collaboratively supports Illumina’s commercial team, to ensure best in class industry contract terms and conditions and excellent customer experience.

As part of a vibrant EMEA Contracts team, you will be assisting with reviewing, advising and negotiating the terms and conditions, including tender documentation which relate to Illumina broad cutting-edge product portfolio focusing on France and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg)

Responsibilities and Duties

Draft, negotiate and advise on agreements with respect to Illumina’s product and services portfolio with Customers within the relevant sales district
Assist with the review of tender documentation
Draft, advise on and negotiate framework contracts with the key customers within the relevant district
Recording details of the agreements, once agreed and finalised, on Salesforce.com
Assess risks in a commercially focused, business centric, manner in a way which facilitates the business
Take ownership in relation to contract related matters for your designated sales team (“District”)
Attend District forecast calls, and other relevant District meetings as requested and approved from time to time
Take a proactive approach, and to keep in close contact with the districts you support regarding progress with matters which they are working on
Assist with the provision of training to relevant internal stakeholders with regards to the contracts process / public procurement laws developing and promoting public procurement knowledge across the company
Ensure contracts are approved, and documentation is executed in accordance with Illumina policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Have a sound knowledge and experience of European tendering procedures
Proficient French speaker
Able to demonstrate contract management experience
You must hold a degree, have an equivalent professional qualification or relevant experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex contracts
Possess an understanding of negotiation strategies and tactics In-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions provisions
Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills are required
Work co-operatively in a team centric, manner assisting other team members who may need support
Work independently and to deal effectively with a broad range of personalities and cultures
Align internal and external resources to achieve objectives
Manage complex agreement and meet timeline deliverables
Pay attention to details
Work effectively as part of a team
Lead resources that may not be directly managed
Comprehend, and interpret complex instructions, proposals, and contract language
