Delivering support with a difference. That’s when it hits home.

Join us and be part of our inspirational Care and Support team which changes and supports vulnerable people’s lives every single day.  We pride ourselves on doing things differently…

We know that one size doesn’t fit all, so our national expertise is delivered at a local level with our customers leading their own personalised support every step of the way. We are also embracing new technology and creative ways of working which frees up our teams to work away from the office and have more time to do what they really care about, making a real difference to people’s lives.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager (known internally by us a Client Services Manager) with great leadership abilities like you, to manage our team within our Durham Dales Easington and Sedgefield CCG funded services which forms part of the wider Wellbeing & Recovery service.

We focus on 3 aspects; Physical Activities, Supported Recovery and Supported Volunteering. The aims of all 3 aspects are to close the gap with respect to health inequalities by improving the overall health of individuals located within challenging and deprived communities. Support is offered to individuals where there has been an identified need for an improvement in their mental health and wellbeing. By individuals accessing support, there is a reduced need for hospital admission and referral to secondary services. Individuals will be seen both on an individual and group basis to encourage social inclusion.

You’ll be working with Julie, Tracey, Gemma and Edd and will be part of an experienced team with a wealth of knowledge around mental health and learning disabilities. We also have a number of front line colleagues with lived experience who offer invaluable peer support to our customers.

Join us in delivering support with a difference and develop your skills in the effective planning of support, operational management and the delivery of contracts which is truly customer-centred and outcomes-based.

About you
We want someone who can bring creative and innovative solutions to problems and always strive to continuously improve service provision.  To flourish in the role, your passion for promoting independence and social inclusion will be matched by your focus on quality and efficiency.  You’ll impress us with your leadership abilities and proven track record in achieving results through motivating colleagues to deliver high performance at all times. It’s also important that you have excellent communication skills, IT skills and are great at building effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and external professionals so you can effectively engage support for our customers.

So join us and lead our team who are doing things differently and spending more time making a real difference to vulnerable people’s lives.
