We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team in our new Oracle Income and Expenditure Centre of Excellence where you’ll provide business support to our colleagues and customers across the organisation. This is a new team whose main tasks will include working collaboratively to deliver in-depth support; one dedicated team to lead on the task and see it through from start to finish to deliver results.
About our team
You’ll be working alongside our fabulous team, which is currently made up of 4 experienced administrators, who have many years of continuous service with Home Group and they are passionate about providing brilliant customer service.
The team ensures that income and expenditure is raised efficiently, such as purchase orders, income management and processing utility and council tax bills. The team is led by Phil, who knows all there is to know about Oracle and more, and he can’t wait to share his knowledge with anyone new in the team. He has a wealth of business and transformation experience which he has gained during his career not only at Home Group but also whilst with Hampshire County Council and Her Majesty’s Prison Service.
Our team is expanding due to business requirements and this is the perfect time to join our fun, vibrant and supportive team. It’s a challenging but rewarding role and your valuable skills and experience will ensure we continue to deliver a high quality service to the business.
You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
If you have current or previous experience of databases such as Oracle, raising purchase orders or invoices, this would certainly be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
You’ll have previous administration experience, with the ability to multi task, prioritise workloads to ensure you meet your deadlines. You’ll have excellent working knowledge of office procedures with extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The ability to take notes would also be an advantage.
You’ll be an effective team member and work with minimum supervision – if you are self-motivated and able to use your own initiative, then this is the role for you!
