We have an exciting opportunity in Human Resources for someone with a real passion for equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) looking to use their skills to make a significant impact on the University.

You will lead the implementation of the University’s BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) strategy and action plan and we are looking for somebody who is willing to seize the opportunity to work with us on delivering against this ambitious strategy.  You will already have a detailed understanding of current ED&I challenges, and demonstrate highly effective project management and data analysis skills.  Ideally you will have proven experience / knowledge working in ED&I, and in particular relating to BAME equality.

You will be able to think things through and come up with creative and pragmatic approaches to progress this important agenda, with proven influencing skills and a keen ability to prioritise work, taking account whilst doing so of potential impact, resource and financial implications.

This rich and varied role will provide opportunities for you to work in partnership with academic and professional services staff within and outside of HR, and with students, to lead on cross-university actions and ensure they connect and support wider ED&I, Organisation Development (OD) and University goals.
