Victory Housing Trust owns and manages approximately 4,700 homes in Norfolk. The improvement and maintenance of our properties, together with the development of new homes, is led by our Assets team which has recently been restructured to increase its effectiveness, and so we now have exciting opportunities based at our new purpose built offices in North Walsham.
Job Details
We are seeking to recruit a Surveyor Team Manager who will be responsible for managing programmes and contracts for the improvement, maintenance and repair of our properties, as well as managing a team of surveyors and support staff. To be successful in this role you will need initiative and creativity, and will be required to ‘lead from the front’, to make well informed, effective and timely decisions to achieve excellent service delivery by the team.
Professionally qualified, with extensive experience of managing a reinvestment programme you will also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding and knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to the housing sector, modern methods of procurement, construction contracts, modern partnering arrangements and construction.
In return you can expect a competitive salary in the range of £36,365 to £39,048 per annum, plus a range of benefits including car allowance, performance related pay scheme, private health care and contributory pension scheme.
The post offers a salary in the range of £31,666 to £34,553 per annum, plus a range of benefits including car allowance, performance related pay scheme, private health care and contributory pension scheme.
