Black Minority Ethnic Strategic Partnerships
Operating since May 2000, the Ethnic Jobsite’s primary objective has been to focus – specifically – on deprived neighbourhoods. We operate many innovative methods of bringing jobless people from ethnic backgrounds together with potential employers.The Ethnic Jobsite is an essential component to an organisation’s recruitment of members from ethnic minority communities.
Black Minority Ethnic Strategic Partnerships
As an intermediary, we have establish a Black Minority Ethnic (BME) Strategic Partnership to bring together interested parties and give them opportunities to influence decisions, and also to generate agreement and collaboration.
With our knowledge and experience, we provide the following services to our clients by:
• matching people to the appropriate vacancies that will assist them in finding work;
• providing vacancy services for employers;
• ensuring employees attain the work they desire and the support they require.
Forming an effective partnership is critical to achieving these goals and with this in mind, we are developing our services to focus our activity on people who require our assistance the most.
Partnerships
By building bridges between communities, authorities and employers with members of the ethnic minority community, everyone can benefit from a better understanding of different cultures and attitudes.
The Ethnic Jobsite enjoys longstanding and mutually beneficial partnerships with a wide range of large local and national employers in administration, the retail and service industries plus transport and public sector organisations.
Closer relationships
Ethnic Jobsite is working to develop a closer working relationship with public sector organisations in order to meet their recruitment needs.
We are also co-ordinating initiatives with universities to capture job vacancy opportunities and to develop programmes that help members of ethnic communities back to employment.
